It’s solid, I ran the mixer to its highest setting, and aside from expected wobble, there was no rattling or flexing of the main body. It’s durable, for sure.There is a button on the side with a wheel. The button itself is a timer, but it counts up. I didn’t read the manual so I’m not sure if there is a way to program it. Surrounding the button is a ring that you twist clock-wise to speed up (1-8) or slow down. Turning the mixer on doesn’t automatically start the motor, you have to turn the dial for that to happen. A simple yet welcome safety precaution.To lever the head up, there is a paddle in the back that you activate to both open and close it. The head locks open, which you would think is expected, but I’ve seen a couple that didn’t lock like this one does.The mixing bowl is large, stainless steel, and plenty durable in its own right. My main issue with this mixer is that you twist the bowl against the direction of the mixer. When scraping, especially at modern to high speeds, there is a chance that it will grab the bowl, untwist it, and knock it loose. How do I know? It happened to me….The operational noise is within expectations. It’s not loud, but it isn’t quiet, either. You know when it’s running, but you don’t need ear plugs standing next to it.I don’t have any accessories for the universal power hub, but I am very happy that it is there in case we decide we want/need one of those accessories. This does not come with any accessories for the UPH, but I wasn’t expecting any.My wife and son love how it looks. Sleek, modern, and fits in with the rest of our kitchen appliances. My sons been getting into baking and is super excited for this mixer.Overall, I am very impressed and happy with it. It isn’t perfect but it’ll fit your needs very well. Definitely give it a solid recommendation to buy.
