HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Coverstitch Hemmer

$ 39.81
DescriptionThe HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Coverstitch Hemmer Attachment is designed to turn under 25mm (1 inch) of fabric, creating a perfectly straight hem without the need for excessive pressing. Recommended fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics and light to medium weight stretch fabrics. Compatible with the following HUSQVARNA® VIKING® machines: AMBER™ AIR S|600 HUSKYLOCK™ S21, S25 Specifications & How to Use: Set your machine for a wide, narrow, or triple coverstitch with a stitch length of 3.0. Position the attachment plate on the machine and secure it with the two screws. Place the hemmer onto the attachment plate and slide it fully to the right. Secure it in place with the two thumb screws and washers. Fold under a 25mm (1 inch) hem of fabric and finger press the first few centimetres in place. Slide the fabric (right side facing up) into the hemmer from the right-hand side so the hem curls under the attachment. Raise the presser foot, pull the fabric under the foot and extend it 2–3cm (1–2 inches) behind the needle. Lower the presser foot and turn the handwheel to make a few stitches, securing the fabric. Sew a few stitches to check the coverstitch position. To adjust, loosen the thumb screws and shift the hemmer to the left until the desired needle position is reached. Always test on a fabric scrap before sewing your project. Ensure the fabric stays folded under when feeding into the attachment to help the fabric roll neatly under while sewing. Tips & Hints: If your machine has a free-arm option, it makes sewing continuous or circular hems much easier. For heavier fabrics or when stitching over seams, increase the stitch length up to 4.0. When crossing seams, gently guide the fabric through the hemmer for smoother feeding.

All stated dimensions of sheet glass are approximate. Because of the unique process and conditions of manufacturing art glass, the sheets are not perfectly square, nor are the sizes exact. Unless noted otherwise all sheet glass is approximately 1/8″ thick.

*Note On Image Accuracy: While glass is notoriously difficult to capture well in a photograph, great care is given to present glass as true-to-life as possible. Computer monitors vary widely and may not reliably portray the glass or its color.
