I really want to like Saint Julep, I don’t dislike it. Its a very very different scent. Sure you can smell the mint and the sugar but its not really strong. I wouldn’t use the word weak but it is mellow. It seems to change a little and mellow out more as the day progresses. It’s the kinda scent you wear for yourself not to impress. Reminds me of those incense oils but delicate. A laid back summer smell, maybe?Price was a little much for the amount you get but that’s a good thing. I wouldn’t want a huge bottle of the stuff.I got a woman’s opinion and she was just as confused as I am. Her words not mine, “it doesn’t smell bad at all but its not a strong scent, I can’t smell it when you stand next to me unless I get close to your neck.”Would I buy it again, I’m not sure, It’s not a traditional scent and that’s a good thing. I am very picky when it comes to cologne and usually have to smell five or more scents before I decide what to buy next, this time I went with online reviews. It was a number one on about three top ten lists. Many of my favorites were number two and three.Bottom line, its a different scent and might not be for everyone and I’ll be wearing it, but I’m still feel unsure about it. Dare to be different, we’ll see.
