Bill Buchman “Zen” Sumi Brush 3 – Jumbo – China

This sumi brush is awesome. The product came in an oversized 4 1/2 foot box which shocked me into thinking the brush was much larger. But for those of you wondering the actual size of this brush, the overall length is about 18″ and the hair is about 2 1/2″ long and an 1″ wide. The hairs come starched and all you need to do is soak them in a clear vase full of warm water(clear so you can make sure the bristles aren’t bending to much)and move it around in the water for about 5 minutes and then let it sit for about 10 more minutes. After that let it hang overnight to dry. The bristles are incredibly soft but firm enough to control. The brush is a great product at a great price, some similar sumi brushes would be around 200 dollars for the same quality as this brush. I would for sure buy this again if I had enough money. ��
