PCD Diamond Tool Sharpening Service

$ 98.89
Our Marietta, GA service facility operates fully automated, state-of-the-art high-precision CNC machines, dedicated exclusively to the servicing of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) cutting tools. We service the full range of PCD tooling, including hoggers, circular saw blades, groovers, premill cutters, profile tooling, drills, and router/milling tools. Delivering superior service with fast turnaround, competitive pricing, and consistent performance has been our mission since installing our first PCD grinding machine in 1997. Precision sharpening of PCD tooling demands a significant investment in specialized CNC EDM equipment, along with essential auxiliary systems such as optical profile comparators, brazing equipment, and inspection tools. As a result, true PCD resharpening capabilities are highly specialized. Given the high value of PCD tools, meticulous care is required at every stage – handling, packing, shipping, resharpening, and return to the customer. There is no margin for error when restoring a PCD cutting edge to optimal condition. PCD sharpening is also inherently time-intensive. For example, a 72-tooth PCD saw blade can require three hours or more of machine time to sharpen, excluding preparation work or additional operations such as adding relief angles. This level of precision and labor explains why professional PCD refurbishment is both specialized and costly – but essential to restoring tool performance and extending tool life. All stated dimensions of sheet glass are approximate. Because of the unique process and conditions of manufacturing art glass, the sheets are not perfectly square, nor are the sizes exact. Unless noted otherwise all sheet glass is approximately 1/8″ thick.

*Note On Image Accuracy: While glass is notoriously difficult to capture well in a photograph, great care is given to present glass as true-to-life as possible. Computer monitors vary widely and may not reliably portray the glass or its color.
